Who or what is WOCO?

Woodworkers of Central Ohio is a non-profit organization established to promote education in and foster craftsmanship in the art and techniques of woodworking. Our membership includes professional woodworkers, enthusiastic hobbyists who may earn some extra income selling crafts, and beginning woodworkers anxious to learn more about the craft. Interests in woodworking range from craft techniques to furniture and cabinet making to woodturning and carpentry.

Meetings are held the second Saturday of September, November, January, March and May from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm at the Spring Road Church of Christ, 74 Spring Road, Westerville, OH. Coffee and cookies are provided for your refreshment and each meeting offers an informative seminar on woodworking techniques.

A projects table is featured at each meeting where members bring in items they have made. There are always a good deal of discussion shared on techniques, projects in progress, sources for tools and wood, classes offered, and idea sharing.

WOCO Membership is valid for a year at a time. Renewals may be done over the mail or by contacting our treasurer during our meetings. Dues for the 2009-2010 calendar year is $25.00.
